I Love You
I have grown to almost hate those words
You whisper in my ear soft as a pigeons coo, "I love you, I love you"
Is your love even real, or is it as surfacely fake as that of birds?
Time has passed since you last meant that delicious lie
But here you come again with sinfully sweet nothings to say
Do i dare fall again for your masquerade and die
Or do i follow you to soar the highest mountains with the fantisical fae?
Only time will tell what is or is not to be
Days and hours, months and weeks, minutes and seconds of pure, increasing, burning agony
The mighty dragon will breath its fire, burning all that one can see
And in the ruin,
Will You Marry Me? by LuminescenceDove, literature

Will You Marry Me?
Will You Marry Me?
Those beautiful once forgotten words
That saved my soul from depression
A promise in the dark for a bright future
Sitting on a couch crying my eyes out
You were leaving never to return by the plans of others
But you swore to come back for me
You loved me.
I hold you painfully close
Thinking that the tighter i hold on, the longer you'll stay
I was wrong, the harder my grip, the faster you slipped away
The thought never crossed that though you were mine, you were mine to lose
That beautiful night of heartbreak and hope
Your fingertips caress my cheek and tears swell in you eyes
"Sky, my beautiful, sweet Luna...promise me yo

I am the Angel who courted the Moon
I am the Prince who made her swoon
I am the Mage who loved the Seer
And faced her demons with no fear
The stars can shine and the masters call
But I, the Prince, now rule them all
No knights errant or blood-red jewel
No queen of hearts, or hanging fool
I raise my sword and spread my wings,
that with the moon, I may become a king
Now to this end and from the start
This prince gave her an angel's heart.
